Battle Born Ventures, LLC recently provided professional land surveying services for NV Energy associated with the Valmy Generating Station’s Ash Landfill in Valmy, Humboldt County, Nevada. NV Energy enlisted Battle Born Ventures to provide construction staking services for earthwork and grading improvements and boundary monumentation associated with regulatory permitting requirements for the disposal site. Construction staking activities included layout of drainage swales and retention basins, culvert crossings, and other drainage improvements for the landfill. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, and project coordination.
