Battle Born Ventures, LLC recently provided construction staking services for A&K Earth Movers, Inc. and Colorado TBC, both of Fallon, Nevada associated with site piping and structural foundations being constructed at Ormat’s McGinness Hills Geothermal Power Plant #3 near Austin, Nevada. A&K Earth Movers, Inc. enlisted Battle Born Ventures to provide construction layout for grid lines associated with the structural foundations for the main plant equipment. Colorado TBC enlisted Battle Born Ventures to provide construction layout for BOP foundation centers associated with the geothermal water piping serving the main plant equipment. Battle Born Ventures set hubs w/ tacks as ten foot offsets to the respective structural grid lines and at actual BOP foundation centers. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, and project coordination.
