Battle Born Ventures, LLC recently provided professional land surveying services for Applied Soil Water Technologies of Sparks, Nevada associated with the Hawthorne Army Depot’s Solid Waste Storage Facility in Hawthorne, Nevada. Applied Soil Water Technologies enlisted Battle Born Ventures to conduct a topographic survey of specialized waste storage cells and adjoining land. The topographic survey data was reduced into a topographic base map to be used to aide in calculating in place volumes of stored waste and estimate remaining storage capacities of the individual waste cells for reporting to regulatory agencies. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, mapping and project coordination.
