Battle Born Ventures, LLC recently provided professional land surveying and mapping services for HydroGeoLogic, Inc. of Lakewood, Colorado associated with groundwater monitoring wells and water rights at the Hawthorne Army Depot in Hawthorne, Nevada. HydroGeoLogic, Inc. enlisted Battle Born Ventures to conduct a survey ties of several monitoring wells and the boundary of Section 12, T8N, R30E, MDB&M. The survey data for the monitoring well ties was reduced into a coordinate report and submitted to the client. In addition, BBV prepared a Water Rights Map to be included in an application to the State of Nevada Division of Water Resources to appropriate water from an underground source for environmental purposes to aide in addressing groundwater remediation and quality monitoring. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, mapping and project coordination.
