Coeur Rochester Mine Survey Control Network Project

Battle Born Ventures, LLC has recently entered into a contract with Coeur Rochester, Inc. of Lovelock, Nevada to provide land surveying services to establish a survey control network at the Rochester Mine high in the Humboldt Mountains east of Lovelock. The intent of the surveying project was to construct permanent control monuments and establish a horizontal and vertical survey control network readily accessible to the mine site. The horizontal network established is on the North American Datum 83(2011), U.S. State Plane Grid; Nevada West Zone 2703 with coordinates derived from static GPS observations with baselines processed from National Geodetic Survey continuously operating reference stations. The vertical network established is on the North American Vertical Datum 88 with elevations derived from the Geoid 2012 model. The work involved monument construction, field surveying, data reduction, report preparation, and project coordination.
