Battle Born Ventures was contracted by Coeur Rochester Inc. to provide professional surveying services associated with the Evapotranspiration Test Cell Project at the Rochester gold and silver mine east of Lovelock, Pershing County, Nevada. The project entailed constructing (4) four 100′ X 100′ evapotranspiration test plots at various locations on older leach pads to test the effectiveness of various surface treatments (i.e. topsoil and vegetation) to effectively minimize infiltration of precipitation into the leach pad. Battle Born Ventures’ surveying services included, construction staking, earthwork quantity surveys and estimation, as-built surveys of the completed cells, and as-built figure preparation. The work involved office calculations, field surveying, data reduction, and project coordination.
