Battle Born Ventures has recently entered into a contract with MKD Construction of Carson City, Nevada to provide surveying and construction staking services associated with stream and riparian improvements associated with the Incline and Third Creek Restoration Project, Phase IV on lands owned by the Incline Village General Improvement District in Incline Village, Washoe County, Nevada. Battle Born Ventures’ surveyors set construction stakes for stream bed grading improvements, clearing limits, log and boulder structure locations, and pedestrian foot bridge abutments and locations. As a result of the project degraded stream channels will be improved to minimize nutrient and sediment flows into Lake Tahoe and will contribute to maintaining the lake’s legendary clarity. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, and project coordination.
