Battle Born Ventures, LLC has recently entered into a contract with Nevada Cement Co. to survey and estimate the total area of surface disturbance associated with the Mustache Pozzolan Quarry southwest of the City of Fernley, Lyon County, Nevada. The disturbed areas attributed to active mining at the quarry site and the newly constructed access road connecting the quarry with Highway 95 were estimated based on field survey data and engineering assumptions. The work involved office calculations, field surveying, and drafting a summary of findings letter. The total nominal area determined will be used to renew and maintain compliance with the NDEP annual permit for the Mustache Quarry.
