Battle Born Ventures has recently entered into a contract with Nevada Cement of Fernley, Nevada to provide surveying and construction staking services associated with the construction of the Mustache Quarry Access Road located just south of Fernley off of Highway 95A in, Lyon County, Nevada. Battle Born Ventures’ surveyors will set construction stakes for culvert crossings, roadside drainage ditch grading, and access road vertical and horizontal alignments. The new road will allow Nevada Cement to access the Mustache Pozzolan Quarry to begin extraction of a natural Pozzolan deposit for use as an additive for cement mixtures. Other survey related aspects of the project involved office survey calculations, data reduction, and project coordination.
